Christmas 2010

The 2010 Christmas season has been a wonderful one for all of us. Even a broken collarbone (see some of the pictures) couldn't dampen Lexie's Christmas spirit, and her third Christmas turned out to be her first white one.

Enjoying a cupcake at her school Christmas party

"My arm may be in a sling, but I'm still going to make some Christmas cookies."

"Now to add the sprinkles."

"These are ready for the oven."

Deciding what to have at Waffle House on Christmas Eve

Excited about Christmas morning

"I got a neat princess bike."

"My stocking is overflowing. Wonder what's in there."

"Dora!"

"What's hiding at the bottom of this thing?"

"Wow! Check this out."

"Princesses! I love princesses."

"Even more great stuff!"

"Daddy said the snow on Christmas was a big deal."

"I just want to eat some of the snowflakes."

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours.

Disney World

Lexie thoroughly enjoyed her first trip to Disney World. We had each been before, but watching our little girl experience "The Happiest Place on Earth" was simply amazing.

"It's a long way to Disney World, but I've got Dora to keep me company."

"Finally! We're here!!!"

Ready for ride #1: Dumbo

"Higher, Dumbo, higher!!!"

"Giddyap horsey!"

"I'm not sure what this ride is, but I'm ready for it."

"I wasn't so sure about the Teacups at first."

"Then Daddy showed me how to turn this wheel, and I liked it a lot more."
"But not as much as I liked visiting the princesses."

Cinderella

Belle - Lexie's favorite

"I found a neat little playground with a great slide."

"The ice cream even tastes better at Disney World."

Pumpkin Patch

We went back to Burt's Pumpkin Farm this year. It's a great fall family tradition.
"Mommy and Daddy wanted to take a bunch of pictures,"

"but I'm here to find the perfect pumpkin."

"This one's pretty good, but it's too hard to pick up."

"This one's great! It's even got a handle."

"That one's for Mommy and Daddy. This one's more my size."

"It's time to go get some lunch. Chick-Fil-A, here I come!"

Worn out from pumpkin picking

Jace's Birthday

Lexie had fun at Jace's Cowboy Birthday Party.
"Here's the cowgirl outfit I wore."

"We had pizza for lunch. Yummy!"

"I got to play some fun games."

"Running around in the yard was lots of fun too!"

Blueberries, 4th of July, and the mountains

Over the last couple of weeks, Lexie has had a lot of fun. She picked blueberries, played in her little pool on the back porch on Independence Day and joined the GCSC leadership retreat in the North Georgia mountains.

"Picking blueberries is fun."

"Hey, I can see them better if I take off my shades."

Stretching for blueberries

"Ok, I've got enough blueberries, so let's head home."

"I like playing in my little pool."

Just taking it easy

Splish, splash

"I bet if I look really cute they'll let me play in the pool some more."

"See I told you."

"That's a pretty waterfall."

"Let me at it!"

"That stream looks like it'd be fun to play in."

"I was right; it is fun to play in."

"At first only my shoes were wet."

"Then I stepped in a little hole and got wet up to my belly."
