Children's Museum and Aquarium

We visited the Children's Museum and Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Lexie had such a good time at both places that we'll be sure to visit again.

"Turning this thing is hard work, but it's fun too."

"This fishing thing is so easy. I just throw the rod in and fish just stick to it."

"I love slides, and this place has some good ones."

"There's too much sand in here."

Time to paint

"I'm so good that I don't even have to look when I paint."

"Wait, it's ok to mix the colors?"

"Ta-dah"

"What happens if I push this button?"

"I don't think they should have this tractor inside, but I'll still play on it."

"I can even go shopping here, but I'm not buying anything because they don't take coupons."

"For my next piece I will play 'Bang on the Keys and Make Some Noise.' It's my favorite!

"This place has fish everywhere!"

"Some are down low."

"Some are up high."

"I don't care what you and that lady say. I'm not touching that thing, Daddy."

"Do you see them too, Mommy?"

"I like these fish because they're little like me."

"I could ride on that thing."

"Everywhere I turn, I see more fish."

"I think the penguins are my favorite."

An exciting start to 2010

2010 has been a fun year for Lexie already. She's been a busy little girl.

She was a hit at GulfCoast Getaway in her "life reframed" shirt.

Even though it was chilly, we had to get some pictures on the beach.

Here she is trying to catch some of the snow that fell in February.

"It's hard to stand up in this stuff."

"But it sure is fun to play in."

Lexie helped Mommy make cupcakes for her birthday party.

"These are going to be so yummy."

Lexie enjoyed listening to Ms. Pam play guitar at her party.

Especially when Ms. Pam gave her a maraca to play with.

"It's fun being the birthday girl."

"You get to eat pizza."

"And open presents."

"And when you think it's over, you find more presents."

"Plus you get to eat cake and be messy."

"And there's even a balloon to play with."

The party was actually a few days before Lexie's birthday, but when the day came she was excited.

"It's my birthday!"

She enjoyed a party with her friends at Champions.

She was really looking forward to more cake at home.

"Blowing out these candles is hard work."

"One down, one to go"

"I did it!"

"Now, I can eat the cake."
