Christmas 2009

This year Lexie had a little better idea of what was going on during Christmas. She enjoyed the tree and lights around the house. She also really liked pointing out Jesus in her magnetic nativity on the fridge and the Little People one that sat on the kitchen counter. At dinner tonight she even pointed to the fridge and asked, "Where Jesus?" Like last year the best part of the season was watching her enjoy it. We are eternally gratefully to God for sending His Little Boy to Earth for our little girl.

Lexie kicked off Christmas with a party at Champions for Children.

"I'm helping Mommy wrap presents."

This year she got to eat more than just grits at our Christmas Eve dinner at Waffle House.

"Hehe, this thing talks to me and knows my name."

"Yay! A UGA cheerleader! Go Dawgs!"

A new set of wheels

Taking a break from presents to eat breakfast

"We've got to get the house clean before all the company arrives."

"Whew! This is hard work."

"I've gotten better at this unwrapping thing since last year."

"Aunt Sarah got me a recorder. Daddy said that Camryn is getting one next year."

"What's in here? This present's bigger than me."

So sweet

Lexie and Taylor are a lot alike. :) Same cups, both got the same talking dog (Violet), both got the girly 4-wheeler :)
