Lexie's summer

Since returning from Destin, Lexie has had a great summer.

She enjoyed her first trip to the pool.

She discovered her Exersaucer,

and loves it!

She's taken the opportunity to relax a bit.

We have thoroughly enjoyed watching her experience her first summer.

We spent a few days in Destin, Florida where Lexie really seemed to enjoy herself.

Another day, another bathing suit and hat. Always stylish, though.

I will not claim to know exactly what Lexie is thinking, but I just have to speculate.

Daddy got me out of my bouncy-seat to watch this horse race, and Big Brown finished last.

When my feet can reach the floor, you're going to see some awesome jumping.

Lexie has grown a lot since my last post, so here are some recent pics.

We've grown accustomed to having Lexie be all smiles.

However, there were no smiles for this picture right after a recent bath.

Lexie's first J-E-T-S event

The NFL draft began today, and just like her Daddy, Lexie was pumped up about it.

She already knows that the JETS are #1!

Even though the draft is more "stream-lined" this year, Lexie decided that sleep was more important than seeing who the JETS drafted. Check out those socks and that paci!

The newest Champion

Today was Lexie's first day at Champions for Children. Beth reports that she had a great day. We are definitely blessed to have Lexie being cared for by such amazing people every day.

Lexie is 1 month old!

It seems amazing that it's been an entire month since we welcomed Lexie into the world. It seems like just yesterday that we were seeing her for the first time. Watching her grow and develop has been an amazing experience. We thank God that she is safe and healthy. God is good!
